Glossary（EIP punch）
- MH punch
- MH punches were able to have a mat surface ranging in roughness from ca. 1.0 μm to 5.0 μm by varying pulse electrical current of discharge alloying process. MH punches have anti-sticking properties.
- micropeening
- A method of removing the beam trace on the metal surface in a finish process by peening abrasion grains such as SiC (silicon carbon), and to polish smoothly.
- DLC (Diamond like Carbon）
- It is the carbon film materials which resembled a diamond. The characteristic has the high hardness, a low coefficient of friction, wear resistance, the electric insulation, infrared permeability etc.
